Van Raam finalist of the King William I Business Award
One of the gems of the Gelderland cycling industry is Van Raam Cycles from Varsseveld.
Van Raam is one of the three finalists for the prestigious King William I Business Award. Enterprises that have demonstrated courage, decisiveness, perseverance and innovation, further proving a sustainable and good entrepreneurship have a chance to win this business award. The award is seen as the most important award for Dutch SMEs. The winner will be announced on November 25th, with the Dutch Queen Máxima visiting the winning company at their premises to present the award.
Van Raam is widely seen as ‘leading by example’ in the Dutch manufacturing industry with its one of the most ‘clean & smart’ factories in the Netherlands. In addition, Van Raam is one of the largest bicycle factories in Europe where almost everything, including frame, pedal support and many parts, is designed and produced in-house.
